Charity is the pure love of Christ and it is through this power that we can refine our characteristics and draw closer to God. By developing more charity in your life, you will have the ability to handle any experience that might come your way.
Christ showed us the example that we should be looking for ways to lift and help others around us. Small acts of kindness can go a long way to brighten someone’s day and lighten their load. At the same time, you will feel more peace and happiness in your own life.
When you are getting caught up in the daily grind, look for ways that you can have more charity in your heart. Be patient with others, because you never know what someone is experiencing. Don’t be puffed up… instead find ways to rejoice in truth and draw closer to God.
Having a heart that is filled with charity will give you the love and light that will draw more good into your life. Charity makes it easier for you to bear the difficult circumstances that you may encounter. You will find that you can believe in God, hope in the future, and endure this experience of life. The pure love of Christ is the best way to find your pathway forward and overcome anything that you might encounter!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
